I was introduced to this Lakme mousse around 10 years before and it has been on and off product in my makeup vanity since then. I have nostalgic relation with this mousse foundation because it reminds me of my college days when I was very new to makeup. Then this Lakme mousse foundation was my favorite because only a little bit of this product gave me flawless complexion in few seconds. MY EXPERIENCE WITH LAKME ABSOLUTE SKIN NATURAL MOUSSE FOUNDATION
Lakme Absolute Skin Natural Mousse comes in shiny grey round packaging which looks super cute. Packaging is eye catching and looks good on vanity table. You need to rotate the cap to open this mousse foundation. There is lid inside which separates foundation from its cap. You need to dip your fingers inside container to takeout the product which is a messy way of applying foundation. Since Lakme foundation has mousse texture, it is best applied with fingers. Lakme Absolute Mattreal Mousse has super smooth and creamy mousse texture which get absorbed in skin very easily and blends perfectly.
Lakme Absolute Mousse foundation has citrusy fragrance which appeals to me but can appear a bit strong for women who are sensitive to fragrances. I have used Lakme Absolute Mattreal Mousse in shades Ivory Fair, Golden Medium and Rose Fair. Though I have fair complexion with yellow undertone, Lakme mousse foundation in shade ivory fair looks great on me in artificial lights but a bit ashy in natural day light. So I tried Golden Medium shade and sadly it turned out to be a bit dark for me. I also used Lakme Absolute Mousse foundation in shade Rose fair. Rose Fair is for pink undertone and is not my perfect shade, it still suits me better than Ivory Fair and Golden Medium. I usually take little amount of Lakme Absolute Mousse Rose Fair on my fingers and blend it nicely to get natural even toned look.

Now coming to Pros and Cons, I like Lakme Absolute Mattreal mousse because it is super easy to apply with fingers. Also there is no need to use compact over this because after few minutes, it settles on face and give matte look. Though Lakme Mousse Foundation can appear bit pricey to some, it goes a long way because you only need a very small quantity of it. Also its staying power is very good and it stays on face almost 5-6 hours straight. Then also it fades only slightly. Only con that I felt is you need to dip your fingers in jar which is a little unhygienic.
Also I am not a very big fan of mousse foundations these days. i liked them before but now if I am using foundation on my face, I certainly prefer liquid foundations over mousse foundations. But this is my personal choice and those who like mousse foundations can certainly pick this one. Also Lakme Absolute Mousse foundation is suitable for all kind of skin and women with dry skin, normal skin as well as combination and oily skin can certainly try it.
