Step 1
Twist the cap gently and take the required quantity of the product on hand. Alternatively, place the drops of foundation on face with an applicator on face and neck area.

Lakme 9 to 5 Primer Matte Perfect Cover foundation comes in transparent glass bottle with rose gold twist to open cap. It has spatula which helps to take out product easily. I like to take out some foundation with help of spatula on backside of my hand and warm it little with fingers before applying on my face. One can also apply foundation directly on face with help of spatula. Lakme 9 to 5 foundation comes in 20 shades to choose from. I liked the fact that Lakme has such huge variety of shades catering to Indian skin tone. They have shades for warm undertone, cool undertone and neutral undertone as well. Warm Undertone Shades start from W, neutral undertone from N and Cool undertone from C. Then you can choose your shade according to no. mentioned depending on skin color.
Lakme 9 to 5 foundation has medium liquid consistency and spread well on skin. Its fragrance is a bit weird because Lakme foundations usually have same beautiful nostalgic Lakme fragrance. But I did not like its fragrance at all. Coming to Lakme 9 to 5 foundation performance, it does stay long on skin. Whenever I use this foundation, I usually apply a small amount as less is more and blend with my fingers only. It lasts on my face from morning to evening and does not match at all. Lakme 9 to 5 foundation shade W 120 Warm Creme suits my complexion perfectly and look beautiful on my skin especially in night time.
It is an affordable drugstore foundation and available on huge discounts on Nykaa especially during sale. Though this foundation has many pros, one point has stopped this foundation from becoming my favorite drugstore foundation. That is this foundation is highly matte. It make my skin very dry near mouth area and cracks if used without applying moisturizer liberally. I usually have dry skin so although Lakme 9 to 5 foundation suits my complexion well, its very drying formula will prevent me from using this foundation all the time. You need to apply loads of moisturizer before applying Lakme 9 to 5 Primer Matte Perfect Cove Foundation, then only it will look good.
